Our Expertise
Our Expertise
Our vast expertise in the domain of industrial rolls offer us with capability of manufacturing different kinds of rolls. One of the most popular item rolling out of our manufacturing unit is the paper mill rolls. We fabricate the range with the assistance of unique alloying to guarantee large scale production. The high point of the paper mill rolls are resistance to abrasion and corrosion, lasting service life of rubber coat and overall roll strength. Our comprehensive range comprises of paper machine rolls for various position of paper machine and the different position rollers of the steel industries.
For paper machine rolls we are expertise in :
Press section:
The main function of roll covers in press section is to create optimum conditions for
de watering through efficient nip performance. To carry out this function successfully our roll covers range meets the following requirements:
01.
Equal hardness throughout the roller
Equal hardness throughout the roller surface by equal dispersion of various chemical ingredients of the rubber coat compounds.
02.
High degree of Abrasion resistance
High degree of Abrasion resistance, tensile strength and good resilience.
03.
Engineered grooving and drilling of roll covers
Engineered grooving and drilling of roll covers to provide improved de watering of the sheet.
04.
Perfect cambering of roll covers for uniform
Perfect cambering of roll covers for uniform dewatering of sheet as well as to improve its life.
Rolls in press section are highly wear resistant with a tough shell having fewer tendencies for bending (deflection) property and have greater strength to thermal shock and fracture toughness to keep pace with today ‘s demand of high nip-load and speed.
PRECAUTION FOR ROLL HANDLING
- Store in a cool, dry and dust-free Avoid heat, solvent or solvent fumes & humidity.
- Variation of temperature across the face is an indication of uneven load across roll length and could result in peculiar wear pattern. Severe variation of load can result in loss of rubber adhesion to the shell.
- Roll may bounce due to external vibration being imposed on it by the misaligned bearings,
- A finished roller should never be stored with its surface touching the floor. The stored rollers should be regularly inspected Rolls properly crowned
and if possible they should be turned through 180 degree every 30 days in order to preven permanent deflection.
- During startup nip pressure should be increased gradually.
Rolls have too much crown
- Rubber covered rollers should always be 3
transported in suitable packings. Roller packing
case should have an adequate all round clearance.
Take nip-impression prior to startup of new roll to ensure even loading of entire face width.
Forming Section
The purpose of roll covers in a forming section is to assist in dewatering and provide smooth and durable surface for the rolls that carry the wire or forming fabric. Our professionally engineered rubber coverings are compatible with high abrasion, high coefficient of friction, wear and tear resistance requirements of forming section at different stages viz. breast rolls, table rolls, wire return rolls, couch roll, mould couch rolls, wire drive rolls, lump breaker roll etc. Apart from above we are expertise in making rolls for other sections of paper machine with specific requirements accordingly.
Dynamic Balancing - Run Smoother at Higher Speeds
When operating at higher speeds, unbalanced rollers perform poorly. They can induce slower linespeeds, damage to stock, and shortened equipment lifespans. To ensure smooth roller operation - even at high speeds - we offer a very effective two-plane dynamic and static balancing service. Our specialized roll handling equipment and latest software can enable our engineers to measure a roll's performance at any speed. Small weight and balance modifications are then made to induce a smooth operation at any speed.
